Hosting & Network Architecture Diagram

The Translation API is securely hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. AWS uses an

industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm for data and metadata at rest and an AWS

Key Management Service for data in transit. The encrypted data is not publicly accessible.

The database is in the AWS network virtual appliance (NVA). Translation Memory data is served

by CloudFront cache in an edge network. The GlobalLink Web RDS data is stored in one of the

Availability Zones (us-east-1c) in the North Virginia region.
