Hosting & Network Architecture Diagram

The Translation API is securely hosted in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. AWS uses an industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm for data and metadata at rest and an AWS Key Management Service for data in transit.

The encrypted data is not publicly accessible. You can find more details on this at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/whitepapers/latest/logical-separation/encrypting-data-at-rest-and--in-transit.html

The application clusters are in the AWS network virtual appliances (SYD, TOK, IRL and NVA). Translation Memory data is served by CloudFront cache in an edge network. The GlobalLink Web RDS data is stored in one of the Availability Zones.
