Batches in OPE
“Batches” are collections of Segments set up upon request by the GlobalLink Web Production Team and are visible and editable in the OPE drawer. Batches make making multiple edits in OPE easier and then review, approve, and push “LIVE” all at once. Batches are Target-specific; changing the Target Language will change the list of Batches.
Select up to 3 Batches and click “View” in the bottom right corner to get started.
When a Batch is selected, only blocks with segments included in that Batch will be visible and editable in the OPE drawer. On the page, segments included in the Batch will be highlighted in light blue. The “Highlight Segments” switch can turn off this behavior.
Hover over the blue “Batch” button in the OPE drawer to see a list of the URLs that contain Blocks in the selected Batch. Clicking on the URL brings the user to that page to begin editing.
If one segment of text appears in multiple places on a site, saving an edited translation for one of those segments will update the translation for all those segments containing a perfect match.
Any text not part of the selected Batch will show “This text is not part of the selected batch” upon hover.
To exit Batches mode, click on “Clear Filters” at the bottom right of the OPE drawer.
