GlobalLink Web Pretranslation

Application performance is a crucial aspect of any website. GlobalLink Web uses a Pretranslation JSON object to store previously translated text in a cache and minimize the amount of content that needs to be fetched “real-time” via Translation APIs.

The Pretranslation JSON object is pre-loaded while the page is still fetching and rendering its other elements, and before GlobalLink Web checks for content needing translation. Pretranslation allows for faster performance and zero performance degradation when translating web pages. The JSON object created in the cache persists but will naturally change and update itself when new translations are applied to the webpage. Depending on the application’s demands, Pretranslation can be enabled or disabled.
